Terms of Service

Last updated: 6 October 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By creating an account or using Minted ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Minted is the trading name of a sole trader business based in England ("we", "us", "our"). Our registered business details are held by Paddle, our merchant of record, and are available on request from [email protected]. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Minted is analytics and attribution software for WooCommerce stores. It records visits to your store through the Minted WooCommerce plugin or a tracking code, imports your WooCommerce orders, and shows live visitors, sales and order reports, customer profiles and journeys, and which channels and ads lead to sales. You can connect Google Ads and Meta ad accounts to import spend and campaign results. The Service is provided through the web application at app.useminted.com, the Minted WooCommerce plugin and the Minted iPhone app.

3. Accounts and Eligibility

The Service is for people who operate a WooCommerce store, and for the team members they invite. To use it you create an account with a valid email address and connect a WooCommerce store; the reporting pages and Billing open once a store is connected. You must be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for all activity under your account.

To protect the Service and its customers against spam, fraud and payment disputes, we may refuse, suspend or close an account that has no store connected, that was created in bulk, or that we believe is being used for anything other than analytics for a store you operate.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

5. Plan Limits

Each subscription plan sets the number of stores you may connect:

Each plan also sets the number of people you may invite to your account: 2 team members on Starter, 5 on Growth, and an unlimited number on Pro. Store and team limits are applied when you add a store or send an invitation.

Every plan keeps one year of data. Data export and the reporting pages require an active subscription or trial. Features described as coming soon on our pricing page are not yet available on any plan.

6. Free Trial

Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial of the plan chosen at sign-up. No payment card is needed to start it. When the trial ends you need a paid plan to keep using the reporting pages. Your data is not deleted when a trial ends.

7. Subscriptions and Billing

Payments are taken by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle handles the checkout, invoicing, any VAT or sales tax due, and refunds, and Paddle's checkout terms apply to each purchase. Subscriptions are billed monthly in US dollars, in advance, and renew automatically until cancelled. Prices are shown on our pricing page.

You can change or cancel your plan at any time from Billing in the application. A change to an active subscription takes effect immediately and Paddle charges or credits the difference pro rata; a change during a free period simply sets the plan that applies from your first payment. If a payment fails, Paddle retries it and asks you to update your payment method, and access is restored when the payment goes through. We may change prices with 30 days' notice. Refunds are described in our Refund Policy.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Minted plugin and tracking code complies with the privacy laws that apply to your store, including giving your visitors appropriate notices and, where required, obtaining their consent.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all code, design, logos, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Minted. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose.

10. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all data you provide to or collect through the Service ("Your Data"). We do not sell, share, or monetise Your Data. We process Your Data solely to provide and improve the Service. Where you connect an advertising account or turn on a feature that sends data to it, we act on your instruction and you remain responsible for that use.

11. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. We will provide reasonable notice of planned downtime where possible.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Minted shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may cancel your subscription from Billing in the application or by contacting us, and you may delete your account from Settings. Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease. Your data is kept for the one-year retention period described in our Privacy Policy, and is deleted sooner if you ask us to delete it.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
